It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Happy Fitmas everyone.
The holidays are such a wonderful time of year but they can also be the most stressful. If you’re anything like me you probably stress way too much over finding the perfect gift for everyone on your list. Hopefully I can help you out when shopping for at least one person this year.
If your girlfriends, wife, sister, bestie, etc. is interested in staying in shape or is determined to get in shape with the new year, show your love and support by getting her gifts that help make fitness so much fun. Here are some of my favorite gifts that I’ve either purchased for myself, want or am purchasing for the fit girls in my life.
Purchasing these was a complete game changer for me. I added them to most of my leg exercises and completely level upped my workouts. These bands are also very useful to bring on vacations. It’s really easy to get creative with your workouts in any hotel room so she’ll never miss a workout.
A smart watch
Sometimes we need a little extra motivation to push through our workouts. One of my favorite things to do with my clients that wear smart watches is to challenge them to get above a certain heart rate. Their intensity level rises to meet the demand. Then we can monitor how quickly their heart rate falls in order to know when its safe to start again. This is just one of the many features. These watches track sleep, have built in gps for runners, show calories burned and so much more!
A new gym bag
I know a lot of fit chicks that love their tacos so this is just a super fun purchase.
Sephora Favorites Extend Your Style box
Fit Chicks go through dry shampoo like crazy! We work up quite a sweat and some of us can’t possibly wash our hair every day. These Sephora Favorite boxes are amazing. They include travel sizes of several kinds of product so she can decide which is preferred.
A Cookie box
This one is purely selfish. No one ever thinks to get me actual food. There are so many gourmet cookie companies popping up with such interesting and creative flavors. I’d love to taste them all and I’m sure your girl would too. Two that I’ve tried Stacccked and Deadlift Cookie Company have had the most amazing cookies. This time of year they’ve come out with specialty limited edition flavors that would be really nice to find under the tree. Hopefully Santa can keep his hands off of them.
A MoBot water bottle/ foam roller
This is super cool! I hate lugging around a heavy bag full of stuff as I workout and sometimes its hard to find a foam roller around the gym to work out any kinks I get between sets. This totally solves that problem. It’s easy to carry around and any item that can multitask is a win in my book.
Ankle Attachments for the cable equipment
Glute extensions and cable side raises are two amazing moves. The ankle attachment equipment for the cable machines are always so difficult to find. Trying to locate them so they can be used eats up precious workout time. Then when you find them they have other peoples sweat on them. No thank you. Instead I like to carry my own. It takes me two seconds to whip them out of my gym bag and I know that my sweat is the only sweat on them.
New Gym Fa-Shun
If your girl is anything like me she probably really loves style but hates paying for it. I love looking cute in the gym when I workout but some of the prices of gym clothing is more than I want to pay for something thats going to get sweaty. Fitness Apparel or gift cards to fit clothing stores are a win every time. Some of my favorites are Bombshell Sports Wear, Fabletics, Better Bodies and Buff Bunny.
Sometimes its hard to get to the gym, sometimes the gym closes for holidays, and sometimes you just don’t feel like leaving the house. Purchasing a piece of cardio equipment is honestly one of the best gifts I’ve ever bought myself. This is the perfect gift to purchase for a significant other or roommate because added bonus, you get to use it too. I currently have a commercial grade treadmill that I’m totally in love with. I can get up, hop on the treadmill and not have to worry that i didn’t shower first or brush my teeth (yet). My next gift to myself is going to be this FightCamp punching bag with on-demand workouts. Walking/ running on the treadmill or pumping it on the elliptical machine can get a little monotonous after a while. This boxing bag looks like a fantastic alternative to mix things up and have some fun.
